Features
Everything a masjid needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Tarjiha replaces the patchwork of WhatsApp groups, printed timetables and separate event tools with one calm, focused mosque app for worshippers and committees alike. See every feature in detail →
Accurate prayer & iqamah times
Computed with 13 industry-standard methods — ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Egyptian, Dubai, Turkey and more — plus Hanafi or Standard Asr, per-prayer iqamah rules and special-day overrides.
Location-aware adhan notifications
Per-prayer adhan, iqamah and sunrise reminders that follow your mosque's real timetable, switch to Jumuʿah on Fridays, and pause automatically when you travel beyond 10 km — even with the app closed.
Q&A with verified scholars
Ask questions privately or publicly. Verified sheikhs answer in text or recorded audio with automatic transcripts, organised by topic and searchable by the whole community.
Events & announcements
Publish khutbahs, classes and Eid programmes with RSVPs and capacity. Send announcements in English, Arabic and Urdu — scheduled, pinned, targeted, with optional push.
Committee roles & permissions
Owner, admin, moderator, muezzin and content editor roles with in-app invitations. The muezzin edits timings, editors publish content — nobody shares one login.
Member insights
See members joined over time, push delivery rates, upcoming events and active announcements — engagement your committee can actually act on.
Qibla, Hijri & adhkar
A tilt-compensated qibla compass with distance to the Kaaba, Hijri dates everywhere, a 96-dua adhkar library with audio and progress, and a full surah index.
Verified mosques
Committees claim their mosque with an on-site code, phone or documents. Verified masjids carry a badge the whole community can trust.
Your masjid's identity
Pro masjids add their own logo, banner and accent colour, so the app feels like home for their community.
Prayer times engine
Prayer times your mosque actually follows.
Generic prayer apps guess. Tarjiha lets each masjid pick its calculation method and Asr school, then layer real iqamah rules on top — fixed times or offsets, per prayer, per weekday, with seasonal validity. Ramadan and Eid? One-day overrides, with a note for the community.
- Fixed or offset iqamah per prayer — including Jumuʿah
- Weekday-specific rules and seasonal date ranges
- Special-day adhan & iqamah overrides with notes
- Mosque-local dates and Hijri calendar throughout
- Schedules cached offline on every member's device

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is Tarjiha?+
Tarjiha is a mosque management system and community app in one: worshippers get accurate prayer times, location-aware adhan notifications, a qibla compass, adhkar and scholar-answered Q&A, while mosque committees manage iqamah timetables, special-day overrides, events, announcements, team roles, branding and engagement insights from the same app.
Is Tarjiha free for masjids?+
Yes. The Community plan — prayer and iqamah timings, notifications, qibla, Hijri dates, adhkar and the scholar Q&A feed — is free forever for every Muslim and every mosque. Masjid Pro ($19/month or $190/year per mosque) unlocks committee roles, special-day overrides, events with RSVPs, push announcements, member insights and custom branding.
Where do prayer times come from?+
Times are calculated with 13 industry-standard methods — including ISNA, Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian, Karachi, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Turkey, Tehran and Moonsighting Committee — with Standard or Hanafi Asr, configured per masjid. Committees then layer iqamah rules and per-day overrides on top, so the app always shows what your mosque actually follows.
How do the prayer notifications work?+
Each member chooses which prayers to be reminded about. Notifications follow the mosque's real timetable — adhan, iqamah and sunrise — switch to Jumuʿah automatically on Fridays, and are location-aware: they pause when you're more than 10 km from your mosque and resume when you return, even if the app is closed. When you travel, Tarjiha can fall back to times calculated for wherever you are.
Who can manage our masjid in the app?+
The mosque owner invites committee members with scoped roles — admin, moderator, muezzin or content editor. Each role has exactly the permissions it needs: the muezzin updates timings, content editors publish events and announcements, moderators handle members. Invitations are accepted in-app, so nobody shares a password.
How do mosques get verified?+
A committee claims their mosque inside the app and proves ownership with an on-site code, a phone verification or documents. Once reviewed, the mosque shows a verified badge and the committee controls its timetable, events and announcements.
Which languages does Tarjiha support?+
The app is fully localised in English, Arabic and Urdu with complete right-to-left support. Announcements and event details can be written in all three languages, and each member sees their own language automatically.
Does Tarjiha work offline or while travelling?+
Yes. Your mosque's schedule is cached on the device, so timetables and notifications keep working without a connection. When you're far from your saved mosques, prayer reminders can follow your current location instead.
What about privacy and payments?+
We never sell community data, and notifications are sent on your mosque's behalf only. Subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — card numbers never touch our servers.
